Vanda Scaravelli was introduced to Yoga by Iyengar & Desikachar but took it on herself to further her studies through self-exploration and practice.  The end result is a unique approach to yoga which focuses on breath, gravity and the spine.  She was adamant that her studies should not develop into "Scaravelli Yoga" after her demise so her legacy is an informed approach to the practice of any Yoga or, indeed, any Movement Practice, be it Yoga, Pilates or dancing.
